Meridian PAL Soccer is proud to be considered one of the foremost developmental youth
recreational soccer programs in Idaho. Meridian PAL offers opportunities of soccer development to
youth from Meridian, Kuna, Star, Eagle, and the Boise area and hosts games at one of the best
soccer fields in the state, Heroes Park.

Meridian PAL Soccer welcomes all ranges of player experience to the beautiful soccer complex at
Heroes Park (Meridian, ID near Ten Mile and Chinden), the exclusive home to Meridian PAL
Soccer. Meridian PAL Soccer is open to youth athletes of all ages from tots (ages 3-4) through high
school (U15-U18 co-ed) and focuses cultivation of the invaluable experiences of leadership,
sportsmanship, and teamwork.

Play ups or Play downs are not permitted for any reason. Violations to this policy are subject
to immediate dismissal from PAL.

Age Groups

- U4 & U5 Coed Divisions
- U6, U7, U8, U9, U10--Boys and Girls Divisions
- U12 and U14 boys and girls age groups teams play a combination of home games and
away games with Star.
- High School Coed Division teams play a combination of home and away games with
Star.

Volunteers:

All teams are coached by volunteers and all coaches are volunteers. Please consider volunteering to
coach your child's team. Volunteers are needed for all team head coaches, assistant coaches, team
managers, and assistant referees for U7-U10.
SOCCER CLEATS OR TENNIS SHOES ARE ALLOWED, NO FOOTBALL OR BASEBALL
CLEATS (CLEATS MAY NOT HAVE A CLEAT AT THE TOE.

Proof of Age: Meridian PAL reserves the right to require proof of age by birth certificate. Any
player, parent, or coach violating Meridian PAL rules or code of conduct is subject to
immediate dismissal from the league.

Meridian PAL reserves the right to amend any and all age groups after the close of registration. All
impacted age groups and players will be notified if this situation occurs.

Registration Dates:
Meridian PAL reserves the right to close registration prior to posted dates without advance
notice. To secure your place on a roster it is recommended to register early. Thank you.
Registration: 5/13/24 - 7/21/24 (Refund Deadline)

Late Registration: 7/22/24 - 7/28/24 (Limited to available space & may close prior to posted
dates)
Late Fee $40.00 per player
Buddy Requests are not Available
Late Players are added to teams only with open roster spots

**Mandatory Coach Meeting---Saturday, August 17th ** Coaches
will contact their teams via phone or email after this meeting.
Saturday, August 24 th 9:00am - 12:00pm Field Setup/Prep - Volunteers Needed!

Season Games Start: Friday, September 6, 2024 *All age groups may play Friday evenings
and/or Saturdays*
Season Games End: Saturday, October 19, 2024 (Return Equipment)

Returning Players who currently have the Reversible Uniform Kit from 2015 to current may
opt out of the uniform fee and receive a returning discount. This discount is available on the
final question of registration.

Practice & Game Info

Meridian PAL Soccer

Practice

Practice day, time and location is chosen by the head coach. All PAL Coaches are Volunteers. PAL
is not able to take requests for specific practice days/locations or to be placed onto teams with
specific practice times or locations.
Practices may begin as early as 8/19/24

Tots U4 & U5 Teams typically practice on Saturday as first 30 minutes of their scheduled game, but
may choose to add a practice during the week.

U6 Teams typically practice 1x time per week.

U7-High School teams typically practice 2x per week.

PAL Soccer Season Games
Friday, 9/6/24 through Saturday, 10/19/24.
**All age groups may play Friday evenings and/or Saturdays**
U4 - U10 Games are held at Heroes Park
U12 - HS Division may also play teams from Star. Games may be held at Heroes Park and Star.
Total number of games each season are not guaranteed.
