Positive Coaching Alliance

All Meridian Police Activities League (Meridian PAL) coaches are required to become certified through the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). This certification is paid for by Meridian PAL and may be administered at a coach workshop (approximately 2.5 hours) or through an online certification process. Meridian PAL believes the value of certification of all PAL coaches will make a positive impact on helping to develop better athletes and more importantly good citizens in our community.. 

Meridian PAL has partnered with the Idaho Youth Sports Commission to deliver this program to all of our coaches. More information on both organizations can be found by clicking on the links below.

Meridian Police Activities League (MPAL) participates in the Positive Coaching Alliance. This program is a great resource for developing a culture where coaches, parents, and athletes all promote the values of sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork.
